BBQ For Heroes This Summer

If you want to help support those now looking for ex army jobs, you can do so come August when people all over this great nation of ours will be breaking out the barbecues and getting their grill on to help raise money and awareness for Help for Heroes.

Dubbed BBQ For Heroes, the initiative will see coals being fired up all over the UK between August 15th and 31st, with families, work colleagues and local communities all coming together to help support this particularly good cause.

You can register for the event via the official website, where you’ll also find a serious of delicious recipe ideas if you can’t decide what to barbecue. We’re talking chilli hot poppers, red wine burgers, fish parcels with salsa picante… barbecues have never tasted so good!

As well as hosting a fundraising event, you can also show your support by heading to the official Help for Heroes online shop where you can invest in merchandise to sell at your BBQ (sale or return).

What’s more, there’s also a competition you can enter if you do hold a BBQ for Heroes event – you’ll automatically be entered into a prize draw and you could find yourself the proud new owner of a Landmann Premium two-burner gas barbecue, complete with side burner… worth £200!
