Lest we forget

And when the sun sets tonight, as you lay down to sleep, spare a thought for those who went, for the freedom that we keep. ​For when tomorrow comes and the sky begins to clear, twas 80 year afor those folk went to face their fears.​On sunny beaches in Europe, where we now sit, relax and sip wine; where heroes trod in times gone by, at the cost of many lives.​Forget them not tomorrow, for you have your today, they went with pride unquestioned;for us gave thier lives away.​
