“Hugh and the team at ForceSelect don’t promise you a job, nor do they find one for you to stroll straight into from service life. What they do however, is offer sage advice, counsel and intelligently select positions that are in parity with your experience, qualifications and abilities.”
"ForceSelect is attracting the calibre of people with the capability and 'can do' attitude that UK businesses need to succeed in this economic climate."
"I am proud to be involved with ForceSelect. I am in full support of their endeavours to assist our service leavers."
“Our business, a recompression chamber for divers based in the Midlands, tasked ForceSelect with a tough assignment to find a new manager for the unit who had experience in SCUBA diving, was self-motivated and could work with the intricacies of being an NHS provider....ForceSelect provided us with the perfect person, who is now the keystone to our business. We could not be happier with the employee and the service provided by ForceSelect.”
"ForceSelect are genuinely interested in identifying the best candidate to a role in terms of their cultural fit as well as their experience and skillset, ensuring a better opportunity for long term satisfaction for both employer and employee.
We have seen that Ex-forces personnel do bring additional talents and qualities to a business and we recommend ForceSelect‘s services.”
‘I had the need to employ a number of officers on a very complex site at very short notice. When reaching out to the specialist recruitment agency community only ForceSelect showed capability. Within 72 hours they provided over 40 candidates, with CV’s and proof of clearance and a senior manager on the day to support me. Post selection ForceSelect kept in touch and enabled me to concentrate on my core service and not about the paperwork. Thank you."
“As a 48 year old Ex-serviceman I have never been out of work but I had become disillusioned with my employer and thought I should actively seek new employment. ForceSelect was recommended to me via Facebook. This is the first time I have had a recruitment agency invest time in me to get me the job I wanted. All job criteria was sent to me via email within the hour of being informed of job offers and interviews that I wanted. Things could not have been easier. Thank you, ForceSelect.”
“I passed out of Royal Marines Commando training as a general rate in June 2011. After serving just 4 years, I decided to leave the Marines to pursue a career as a Teacher.... Hugh and his team ...gave me advice and interview guidance during the process and they were always at the other end of the phone if I needed to ask questions. I would go as far as to say that any service person planning to leave the Armed Forces must get in contact with ForceSelect as a first port of call. They have given me a solid foundation in civilian life and I will always be grateful for their efforts and work on my behalf.”
“I passed out of Royal Marines Commando training as a general rate in June 2011. I was drafted to 43 Commando during the early stages of my career, before specialising as a small boats operator in the Landing Craft Branch. I served on numerous operations in both the UK and abroad and participated on countless exercises all over the world. After serving just 4 years, I decided to leave the Marines to pursue a career as a Teacher.
Gaining a degree in Marine Biology and Zoology prior to joining the Marines meant I could apply straight to teacher training. However, it soon became clear that there were many entry routes into the profession and I was struggling to choose the right one.
It was at this point I registered my CV and interest with ForceSelect. Their team were extremely quick to pick up the phone and listen to my ideas and before I knew it, a plan had been set in motion to find the right route into teaching for me.
After liaising with Hugh Andree, CEO of ForceSelect, he was able to put me in touch with the right people through his list of contacts and experience in the recruitment industry. Within weeks I had promising interviews and meetings lined up and was formally offered a position in a school, a mere two months after initially contacting ForceSelect.
Hugh and his team maintained communications throughout and were extremely professional in the way they handled everything. They gave me advice and interview guidance during the process and they were always at the other end of the phone if I needed to ask questions. “When I left the Army, McDonald’s appealed to me as it was voted within the top ten companies to work for and has great opportunities. With the help of ForceSelect I was lucky enough to be selected as a Trainee Manager and I haven’t looked back. The opportunities to better yourself and your career are endless, including a Business Degree. The McDonald’s family is a great place to be and I look forward to a long and successful career with them.”
"I would like to say thank you very much to you and the team, for finding me this job. I know all of you put a lot off time in to finding jobs for ex-military people. I will be passing this on to other military leavers and hopefully they can get in touch and you can do the same for them, again thanks."
“We interviewed a wide range of candidates provided by ForceSelect and Steve was the number one choice. He started in December and, through his hard work and aptitude, he has already become an invaluable member of our team. Assuming Steve is typical of the type of ex-servicemen looking to move into the private sector, we won’t hesitate to use ForceSelect again.”
“Force Select is an amazing company, not only did they find me a perfect position, but the staff were Courteous, Helpful and Very Knowledgeable. Would recommend anyone leaving the Forces to enquire with them before going to any other recruiting Service.”
